The Body
Psalm 139:13-14 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Isaiah 38:21 Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a lump of figs, and apply it as a poultice on the boil, and he shall recover.”
A physical church building needs maintenance from time to time and so do our bodies.
The first way we support your flesh is through proper nutrition. Today’s processed foods are horrible at supplying your body the proper nutrition it needs to function optimally. Most Americans eat to many calories on a daily basis. Taking in food that is picked prior to ripening and then shipped to the grocery store. These vegetables and fruits are not as nutritional as when vine ripened and picked. Today’s commercial farming practices affects the soil and it’s ability to provide the nutrients needed to produce crops loaded with nutrients for our bodies. On top of this you also have pesticides, herbicides, additives, and preservatives that may be in the foods your consuming. These items have the potential to overburden your body with toxins.
Today’s processed foods you buy in a box or bag at your local grocery store are often stripped of natural nutrients and then “fortified” or synthetic pieces of vitamins are added back to them. These are inferior to the natural vitamins tht were found in the food originally. This is done so that the shelf life can be extended for the product to not go rancid prior to purchase. An example would be “bleached flour” compared to whole grain organically grown unbleached flour. Our goal is to educate you on healthier food choices and diet recommendations. We also then support your body with quality whole food supplements, and herbs you actually absorb and use.
You should also understand that physical, chemical or emotional stress can potentially put your spine out of alignment. This in turn can create nerve pressure not allowing your organs, muscles and tissues to operate at your full God given potential. In today’s world who isn’t under some kind of stress? This being said if necessary you may need this corrected.
Finally, our foundation of the skeletal system is important as well. If you have pronation of the ankle, fallen arch or flat feet then you need proper support. If this is an issue then the proper support would be recommended.
